Aretha Gaskin

Aretha Gaskin was born to be an entrepreneur. She is the proud President and Founder of The Virtual Legal Assistant, Inc. (www.tvlai.com) and Bankruptcy Forms Processing, Inc., (www.bfpi.org) two companies that virtually serve as full service administrative tools for solo and small practice professionals in the legal and non legal arenas worldwide.

Aretha has been a highly regarded legal support professional working in some of New York City’s largest law firms and brings well over a decade of law firm experience to her companies. Prior to working in the legal industry, Aretha worked in the non-legal world for several years as an executive secretary. She also holds a New Jersey real estate license and is active in several trade industry organizations such as the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) and the International Virtual Assistance Association (IVAA).

Helping small and solo companies overcome their administrative challenges in a cost effective and seamless manner remains her ultimate goal. In her free time Aretha enjoys reading, traveling and quiet time with her family.
